Abstract:
The Apollonius problem is to find all circles touching 3
given circles. There can be a maximum of 8 such circles
if the 3 given circles are not all tangent at one point.
We generalize to find all circles touching 3 given ellipses.
There can be more than 8 circles in the generalized problem.
