On Thursday, February 26th, 2004, Sidney Arthur Vale, affectionately known to his family and friends as Sid, passed away at Vernon Jubilee Hospital. On March 6, 2004, his friends and family gathered to pay their respects, and to remember the role he played in each of our lives.
In addition to his role as a family member and friend, Sid will also be remembered for his service as part of the Winnipeg Grenadiers during World War II. For those of us who were fortunate enough to know him, to have him close to us and to call him our friend, let us not forget his courage, efforts and sacrifices during his military service.
We will preserve here our loving memories of our friend.
